The Veterans Alliance:
Honouring Service and Remembrance
The Veterans Alliance (VA) comprises service and regimental associations in the Dorset and BCP area. Our goal is to ensure that each memorial event in BCP receives the appropriate and dignified remembrance it deserves, while also providing support throughout Dorset when needed. The Alliance is dedicated to championing and assisting our civic leaders in fulfilling its responsibilities during times of national remembrance. The VA comprises of the following service groups and associations: - Royal Marines Association (RMA) - Association of WRENS - The Fleet Air Arm Association (FAAA) - Royal Tank Regiment - Association (RTRA) - Royal Signals Association (RSA) - Royal Artillery Association (RAA) - Women’s Royal Army Corps (WRAC) We warmly invite new members to join us! What is the Armed Forces Covenant?
The Armed Forces Covenant is a promise that together we acknowledge and understand that those who serve or have served in the Armed Forces, and their families, including the bereaved, should be treated with fairness and respect in the communities, economy, and society they serve with their lives. Its two principles are that, recognising the unique obligations of, and sacrifices made by, the Armed Forces:
