The Falklands Memorial Parade Sunday 14 June 2026.

This parade commemorates the task force that departed from the UK shortly after the Falkland Islands were invaded on the morning of April 2, 1982.

The 14 June marks the surrender of the Argentine forces to Major General Jeremy Moore of the Royal Marines and the end of hostilities

We gather here to pay tribute to the memory of all 907 who lost their lives during this campaign. We especially remember the 777 individuals who were injured and the 255 members from the UK task force who were killed. In particular, we remember the 14 service members from the town of Poole who served at Royal Marines Poole and on board HMS Ardent.

The service will be hosted by the Royal Marines Poole and District Branch of the Royal Marines Association.
